Discover Our Home Care Services with a Heart, in Lancaster, PA

At Eleanor Home Health Agency, we provide a long list of non-medical home care service options to meet the companionship and daily living assistance needs of our valued clients. Most home care clients are seniors, but we are also available to help with providing services for individuals of all ages who may be recovering at home from post surgery or an accident. All of our care is provided by compassionate caregivers who are qualified, certified, background checked, and well trained. Which services will you choose?

Companionship Services

Loneliness among senior individuals who are somewhat homebound can be detrimental to physical health. Our trained caregivers provide companionship services to promote overall wellness or help with travel and significant family events. Caregivers often become true friends of their valued clients as regular visitors to their homes, and both parties treasure these relationships.

Post-Surgical Care

The healing process following a surgical procedure is unknown territory to many people. Whether pre-planned or the result of an emergency, surgery brings with it sometimes months of recuperation, which should not be rushed. Yet, countless individuals don’t take the appropriate actions when healing because they do not have assistance around the house. Allow us to help.

Help with Activities of Daily Living

When you or a loved one needs some daily assistance with what are known as ADLs, our trained caregivers are ready to provide compassionate services. Whether it’s medication reminders, help with bathing or getting dressed, preparing meals, light housekeeping, or even transportation to medical appointments, we can customize services just for you.

Respite Care

Respite care provides short or long-term relief of your family caregiving duties to allow you to rest and recharge. It promotes self-care and can make you a better family caregiver through the support of your work and efforts. It can be very refreshing to know that you’re not alone in the work you’re doing, and respite care is exceptionally flexible. Rely on it as much or as little as you want.

WE ACCEPT MEDICAID WAIVERS

Waivers offer an array of services and benefits such as choice of qualified providers, due process, and health and safety assurances.

The name waiver comes from the fact that the federal government “waives” Medical Assistance/Medicaid rules for institutional care in order for Pennsylvania to use the same funds to provide supports and services for people closer to home in their own communities.

In Pennsylvania, the Department of Human Services administers multiple Medical Assistance/Medicaid waivers. Each waiver has its own unique set of eligibility requirements and services.
